debugging CC2510 with keil ide

Hello,

it possible to use keil IDE for debugging CC2510F32 chip?

To develop on CC25510 chip, TI proposes using CCdebugger and IAR chain tools. Unfortunalty, I just have Keil IDE.  Is it possible to use CCdebugger with keil IDE for debugging purpose?

  • I tried myself and never got Keil to work with the CC debugger, and ended up buying IAR in addition to Keil. If I remember, the Keil never recognized or worked with the CC debugger drivers.

Let us know if you have any luck...

  • Hi,

same problems here. I ended the search for a working solution with rolling my own PCB, Firmware and Debug Driver. I'm using the CC111x only, but as far as I can see the CC251x is nearly the same. The only difference is the frequency range, so it should work with this chip as well. You can find the project here, in case you are interested in it:

I'm not yet ready with an appropriate HowTo. However, if you're actually interested in this project and have questions, we can discuss this via email.
