Hi Nir,

For the crystal requirements please refer to the CC85xx datasheet.

The crystal you have selected has potentially too high tolerance, too high shunt capacitance and too high load capacitance.

Dear TI People,

We are almost at the production stage for our PurePath based product and are having great difficulty sourcing the Epson 48Mhz crystal

designed into the eval. kits.

I am attaching a possible substitute. Can you please go over its datasheet and let me know if this crystal can replace the Epson crystal?

The crystal is within the CC85xx requirements and should thus be ok to use.

Hi TI staff,

I'm a student working on a prototype board using the cc8530, and I'm also having trouble finding the appropriate crystal. I looked at HM Internationals website ( the crystal used by Nir Dvash ) but I'm only able to order from Canada. Right now I'm looking at 8103.FXO_HC73.pdf . It's a package which will oscillate at 48Mhz, has a load capacitance of 15pF and +- 25ppm frequency stability. Will this work as a solution ?

The datasheet you attached is for a CMOS oscillator, not a crystal and will not work with the CC85xx.
