Hi Team,

Using CC2530 and CC2652P7, the following issues were found,
1. Is it normal to test that the power of the first channel of TX MAX POWER is about 1dBm higher than that of the middle channel?

2. Can the transmission power of Zigbee be calibrated, or can power control only be achieved through firmware configuration of power levels?

3. 48 item of measured data can be found in the attachment. The TX MAX power threshold value is currently set at 17-23dBm, is it reasonable?
Is there a recommended power threshold value?
  • Hello Reed,

I hope you are doing well, is this for a launchpad or custom hardware?

    1. Is this for the +20 dBm case or another dBm setting? if it is for the +20 dBm case we can see that the values provided in the .xlsx fit within the "typical" test conditions provided by section 7.11. If this is for a lower dBm case (+ 5 dBm), I will reach out to the HW team to see their opinion.

2.You can change the TxPower in sysconfig, and there are a few "power" fields in the code.

    3. Just so I am understanding correctly, you are using the PA and setting the device to +20 dBm for transmit, and the 48 values are what you found as the actual TX dBm? If this is the case, then reference section 7.11 where your numbers fit within the "typical".

    Thanks,
    Alex F
