Hi,

I am looking for a power amplifier for the CC1110 to achieve a maximum range in the European ISM-Band (868.3MHz) using an output power of 25mW (14dBm). Are there any recommended power amplifiers?

Related to the 'SmartRF CC1110 Target Board' and ''CC1111 USB Dongle' RF reference schematics, where can I insert the amplifier? Between matching network and antenna? Will there be a detuning of the matching network caused by the Amp?

The CC1190 is a good choice, but I would prefer a cheaper amplifier (less than $2) with a lower current consumption.

Most frontend PAs are made to be efficient round 27-30dBm out. This normally imply that the PA is operating as class A for "low" output power and hence high power consumption. As a sidenote it should be noted that CC1120 delivers +14dBm.
