S2_UTIL Reader Utility - MicroReader : Why do I get Pop-up with message "07"? What does it mean?

I am using a MicroReader (RI-STU-MRD1-30) with the S2_Util software

When I Read DST-tags I always get a pop-up with "7" command with every read :

What does it mean?

This way I am unable to put the reader in Line-mode because it instantly wil pop-up this annoying message.

What does it mean?

How do I get rid of it?

  • To answer my own questions,

"What does it mean" :   The byte displayed is the Status Byte which comes as the 3th byte of the message stream. It gives info about the last read/write operation.

07 means - 'Start Byte detected' & 'type=Other tag'  (See page 21 of document SCBU027.)

"How do I get rid of it?" , I can not.
