I wish to use the CC1120 at 173MHz. It is suggested to use the CC1190 to get increased range but the min. frequency for it is 850MHz. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Two PA'2 that you could check out:

Triquint: www.wj.com ; part number: AH312 (+33 dBm) or AH215 (+30 dBm).

RFMD: http://www.rfmd.com/ ; part number: RF5110G (+35 dBm).

The Triquint amplifiers only go as low as 400MHz. However, the one from RFMD looks fine I will look over the data sheet and see what is required.
