Use IAR workbench 7.30 and CC2430 demonstration Board to debug cc2530?

Hello,

I have been using IAR workbench 7.30 and CC2430 demonstration Board (using pins available from header P5: DD, DC and reset) to program and debug cc2430s.

Now, I would like to know if

1) Is it also possible to use CC2430 Demonstration Board to program and debug cc2530s?

2) Is it really necessary to update IAR workbench to 7.51 to program and debug cc2530s? I will still need to program cc2430s and I am afraid I may get some compatibility problems.

 

Can someone help me on these issues?
