Hi,
I have two SmartRF04 eval boards and some CC2431's. I'm trying to get the on screen diagnostic tests(Packet test, RF test etc.) to run when I supply the board with power. When I turn the board on without a CC2431 chip plugged in, a message comes up on the LCD saying no chip detected and LED's 2-4 light up. However when I have a chip plugged in nothing appears on the LCD and LED 1 is lit up. I've tried powering it with a 9V battery, and then by USB. I can run some of the test while it's plugged in USB and using SmartRF Studio 7. But what I need to do is be able to run these without any cables connected to them.
Can anyone tell me why the LCD menu's don't appear when I have a chip plugged in? (These chips and boards were used before they got to me if that makes a difference.)
