Tool/software:
Dear Sir,
I have a question about RI-TRP-DR2B.
In Table 2-1, what does “no identifying data” mean?
Thanks.

Hi,
This means that when you try to read and if the status indicates "Reserved" then there is no valid identification data.

See below example described in the document.

Hi Charles,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I'm sorry I didn't express myself clearly.
What I mean is what kind of value stored in Tag's EEPROM will be regarded as "no identifying data"?
Even if I write 0x00 or 0xFF to Tag's EEPROM, "no identifying data" will not appear.
Does no identifying data refer to a DBCC error?
Thank you.

Can you clarify if you are trying to write to the EEprom or read from the EEprom? When you mentioned table 2-1 in your original question, I thought you were asking about the Read Response. The table 2-1 is for Responses to General Read Page. Here you seem to be writing to EEprom. Which page are you writing to?
If you are writing, did you follow the write format? What do you mean you write 0x00 or 0xFF? Did you provide the Write Address, Write Data and Write Frame BCC as shown in the format?

Hi Charles,
Understood. Let me explain my situation.
I am designing tag-related firmware. I have successfully executed read, program and lock, but there are still some things I don't understand. One of them is the definition of "No identification data". In fact, I have not encountered this response, but because "No identification data" is mentioned in the response tables of read, program, and lock, I hope I can understand its meaning better.
If you need any other information, please let me know and I will try my best to answer it.

Ok. You are saying you have not encountered a status that is equal to "11" which indicates "Reserved". If this is the case, then all of your operations were successful. I think what the datasheet is trying to say is that you cannot rely on the 64-bit value for Identification Data if your status is "11" for Reserved.
