LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: WBMS Example (wmain_diag, wdevice) - Tree Topology Support with Relay Nodes

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am currently working with the simplelink_wbms_sdk_2_00_03_09_eng SDK and testing the provided WBMS examples, specifically the wmain_diag and wdevice folders.

I have the following question regarding network topology:

I would like to implement a tree topology communication structure where relay nodes (intermediate devices) can forward data between the Wireless Main Node (WMain) and Wireless Device Nodes (WDevices).

  1. Is it possible to configure and support such a topology using the current SDK?
  2. If not directly supported, what modifications or additional configurations would be required to enable this functionality?
  3. Are there any existing examples, documents, or APIs that demonstrate multi-hop routing or relay node implementation within the WBMS framework?

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards
