TRF7970A: Code Port From MSPF5529LP kit to MSP430F6779A for TRF7970A

Hi There,

We currently have a working setup using the MSPF5529LP LaunchPad with the USB library for communicating with the TRF7970A RFID transceiver. Example code we have used for this setup:

F5529LP_TRF7970A_ALL_NFC_MODES_BaseCode_01052018.rar

Now, we need to port this application to the MSP430F6779A microcontroller, without USB library.

Could you please guide us on:

  1. Steps to Port the Code:

    What changes are required in the existing code to adapt it for the MSP430F6779A?

  2. Hardware Considerations:

    Any specific configurations needed for the MSP430F6779A to communicate with the TRF7970A?

  3. Reference Documents or Examples:

    Are there any application notes, examples, or migration guides available for porting code from MSP430F5xx to MSP430F6xx series?

We would greatly appreciate any recommendations, sample code, or documentation that can help streamline this migration.
