We have purchased a RFM 007B module.

We would like to know if we have to interface RF007 B with any other module for reading the tags?

If it is necessary to interface RFM 007B module with another control module what are the other options?

Can we process the data from RFM 007B module?

If it is necessary to have a control module which module is to be bought? Either RI CTL MB2B or RI CTL MB6B?

Yes, you will also need a control module. MB2B for RS-232 or MB6B for RS-422/485. Take a look at the attached presentation which shows the different configurations of these modules.

My senior design group has purchased the RI-RFM-007b and ANT-G01E for a senior design project. We were planning to use a arduino microcontroller to process the signals for the RFM-007B. Is that completely impossible or do we need to purchase the MB2B controller? Also, is ANT-G01E already tuned and ready to use or do we also have to buy the antenna tuning module as well?

yes,I suppose you have to purchase the control module,Since the outputs of RI-RFM-007B cannot be discriminated.

ANT-GO1E is already tuned.If u wish to increase the reading range,you could prefer 3m Stick antenna .

I plan to use the RI-RFM-007b with an Arduino board, I wounder if you've made any progress since your post?
I appreciate if you can guide me - are there any instructions for how to interface the RI-RFM-007b ?
