Tool/software:

We currently use the CC2400-RTB1 and have had to move to the CC2400RSUR as the former is no longer available. However, both of the components are marked as NRND: Not recommended for new designs. Do you have an equivalent current product that supersedes these components as I don't really want to redesign my circuit board to accommodate a product with a different footprint.

    Hi Keith,

    Unfortunately, there isn't a pin-to-pin, alternate part for the CC2400. You have a few options but they all involve rerouting.

    1. CC26xx series like the CC2640R2F which has the same pin count, but software effort is needed.

    2. CC2500 different pin count, but minimal software effort as it also uses SPI instead of JTAG.
