Dear TI Support,

I currently have the SimpleLink CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS kit, along with a LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 to act as the master in the wireless communication setup.

I also have the simplelink_wbms_sdk_3_10_00_04 software, and I plan to use the WBMSDemo GUI for wireless communication testing.

Could you please guide me on how to configure the master (LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1) and each slave device to work with the GUI?

For reference, I am using the swru579_SimpleLink_CC2662R-Q1-EVM-WBMS-UG document to base my configuration.

    Hi Samuel,

    WBMSDemo GUI is no longer supported. We are in process of removing it. Please try use Profiler as a tool. file:///C:/ti/simplelink_wbms_sdk_3_10_00_04/docs/wbms/wbms_user_guide/html/wbms/profiler-gui.html#sec-profiler-gui

    Hello Barbara,

    The link /C:/ti/simplelink_wbms_sdk_3_10_00_04/docs/wbms/wbms_user_guide/html/wbms/profiler-gui.html#sec-profiler-gui leads me to the documentation about the tool, but it only tells me how to access my secure resources on the TI platform, which doesn’t seem to work.

    This is the first issue I’ve encountered:

    However, if this link is meant to direct me to download the SimpleLink Wireless BMS Software Development Kit (SDK), I already have it installed.

    So, my question is: where can I find the WBMS Protocol Profiler in the SimpleLink_WBMS_SDK_3_10_00_04 files?

    I’ve looked through every file and couldn't find it.

    Hi Barbara,

    I'm trying to set up the software and have two questions:

    • Is the version of the protocol profile you provided compatible with the BQ79616? The software only mentions compatibility with versions after the BQ79616.

    • Do you have additional documentation on how to use your software ?
    • Do you have more documentation on the CC2662RQ1-EVM-WBMS kit? I think it needs to be flashed again because I have the red fault LED on.
