After I connect my TI SmartRF05EB to PC by usb,there is no reflection.The device manager can't find new device.what's the possible reason?

    Is it the first time you connecting smartRF05EB to your PC?

    Hi,

    I download the boot loader and firmware hex to the smartRF05EB via USB debug by cc debug,and the LCD can show "Texas Instruments SmartRF05 EB (NO EM detected)",which I think tells me that the board works right.But when I connect the board to PC,the PC says it is wrong.So I open the device manager and find "Unknow device".Please tell me what should I do next! Thank you!

    Hi,

     

    Since you have managed to download the bootloader and the firmware using CC debugger,

    you have smartRF Flash Programmer installed on your PC.

    Once you connect your smartRF05EB to a PC with USB cable, when prompted to choose

    driver, go to this location and choose the CEBAL driver:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Drivers\cebal\win_64bit_x64\

    (If you installed smartRF flash programmer in some other path, just open it, and then look 

    for Drivers\cebal\...)

     

    Important note: Let me now if you have a x86 operating system and meanwhile do not install

    the above mentioned driver.
