CC2650: GPIO initial problem

Part Number: CC2650

Tool/software:

I am attempting to connect a DS1820 sensor to the Lanchpad CC2650 board using DIO7 as the DQ line. When I power on the board, I set DIO7 to input mode, but I cannot read any high level. My power output is from the board's built-in 3.3V power port. I would like to know what issue may have arisen with my GPIO port configuration (the circuit setup should be fine, as I have tested it using other methods)

  • Hi Fangyang,

DIO7 is connected to the green LED (GLED) on the LAUNCHXL-CC2650, so make sure you've removed the jumper before testing and that your code is not referring to or initializing Board_GLED elsewhere. No further comment on the code excerpt shown, although you can debug and confirm that your IO registers match the configuration you've attempted to set.

Forward focusing, you will have to PIN_close and PIN_open with a new configuration each time you need to change DIO7 between an input and output for the 1-wire communication.

    Regards,
    Ryan
