SN74LVC8T245: Blurry display

Tool/software:

An issue was encountered during Instruct Controller FT testing.

Out of 78 units tested, 52 units were found to have a blur display. Further troubleshooting confirmed that this display issue is caused by component [MPN: SN74LVC8T245PWR]. Currently we are using parts from 2 different MFG (MFG A & Ti). Hence, the 52 units with blurry display are using Ti parts. Please see the comparison below.

Can you share schematics and waveforms (input and output) for both MFG A and TI devices?

Hello Deveepria,

What you are describing is a system level issue and only you can determine if the blurry display is acceptable.

I can only assist with the SN74LVC8T245PWR and any issues that may come up from using the part. It's difficult to determine if the IC is causing the blurry display without looking at any schematic and waveforms.
