I just noticed that the TMS 3705 is a pretty old chip and I was just curious if it is still being kept up. If not is there another 134.2 khz HDX chip you would recommend?
On the same note I was curious if the Range Extender Power Solution Using UCC27424-Q1 is still a good option to work along with the TMS 3705. I am working on a cattle EID tag handheld reader and wanted the opportunity for a foot of range. I will be utilizing a ferrite core antenna and have had a bit of experience with high q/ tuning 134.2 khz antennas. I do understand getting that kind of range depends on a lot of factors too!
