CC1110 PA_TABLE settings

Hi,

It is correct that the output power levels for the different register values for the CC11xx are not linear. This is because the PA is a complex design and consist of several stages that are controled by different bits in output power register. A full PA table for the CC1101 can be found in DN013 http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/swra151a/swra151a.pdf, the PA for the CC1101 and CC1110 is the same so this will give you an indication to what output power the different settings give.

    I made the communication between CC1110 receiver and CC430 transmitter on 434 Mhz .But their range is up to 10 M . So you have any slution to increse the receiver or transmitter rang?

is it possible to increase the range using PA table?

if yes please told me.

You can set the PA table to its maximum value for the frequency you are using.  Beyond that, you will need to minimize all attenuation through the RF path and also utilize the most efficient antenna for the form factor needed for your product.  Remember, for every 6dB of attenuation your distance will be halved.  Thus if you are losing 18dB between your RF path and the antenna efficiency, then your distance will be reduced to 1/8 of what it could be, i.e. (1/2)^(18dB/6dB).

Not sure I understand what you are asking about? The Design note gives you the output power for different PATABLE values for the different frequency bands.
