help needed in choosing between cc253x and cc243x

hi,

i am doing project on zigbee asset management and would like to know difference between cc243x and cc253x series of soc. which is more suitable for the specified application?

my application needs 1 coordinator and 7-8 end devices, all within range of maximum of 4m.

i am a beginner, so detailed explanation is deeply appreciated.

CC2430 is NOT recommended for new designs, see http://www.ti.com/product/cc2430 so you should go for the CC253x.

as i told, i am a beginner, so can you please point me in right direction as to, how to interface antenna and battery(external interfacing circuit diagram) to a cc2530. can we add usb interface to cc2530? i have searched internet, but get contradicting schematics for same soc!
