eZ-RF2480 Demonstration Kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SIMPLICITI

Hello all, I am a mechanical engineer and I am new to the field of wireless comm. As a part of my project I need to develop a simple wireless data link between the computer and an end node which comprises of an accelerometer. My project requires me to set up this wireless data link at very low power (And might even have to be powered by vibration). So I thought of using MSP430 ultra low power microcontroller and ZigBee protocol of wireless communication. So I found that the eZ430-RF2480 kit comes with both the features I require. But when I went through the user's guide of this kit, I realized that its not a development kit but more a evaluation kit. So I need help in selecting the relevant hardware for my project. Do eZ430-RF2480 kit has the ability to get hooked up with an accelerometer for wireless comm or do I need to use eZ430-RF2500 development kit? Also can anybody suggest me the relevant hardware
