For our products to work we need either of the following receiver format outputs to our CPU:

a) raw discriminator output

OR

b) raw I and Q

Digital in serial format is fine for both the above.

Can you please advise if there are any registers which can be set to provide either of the above two outputs? An undocumented test mode would suffice for our needs.

See table 10, ADC data in the userguide as a start. It is also possible to get the ADC data out on a LVDS interface but then I and Q data is embedded in the same datastream without clock information running at 2*xtal_clock which require a high clock frequency on the CPU side to do the required oversampling to extract the data.

COULD YOU LET ME KNOW WHERE IS THE LVDS PIN & HOW TO CONFIG TO GET LVDS SIGNAL OUT.

AND WHEN I /Q INTERLEAVING OUT, HOW TO DISTINGUISH WHICH IS I , WHICH IS Q.

IOCCFG2 0xB0

Comment: Register setting for setting the output Pad’s in analogue transfer mode and digital drivers are set to high impedance.

ADC_TEST 0x20

ATEST 0x00

ATEST_LVDS 0x02

Comment: Registers setting for selecting IF-ADC data on LVDS interface.

The LVDS data format is [I 1 Q 0].

HI, ter

We test this configuration, but we can not see the lvds output. We test on GPIO2 & GPIO3

IOCFG2 -> 0xB0, IOCFG3 -> 0xB0

ADC_TEST 0x20, ATEST 0x00, ATEST_LVDS 0x02

PLEASE ADVICE.

CC1120 and CC1125 has the same LVDS interface. Note that LVDS is current output and the output has to be terminated by 100 ohm to get a voltage.
