Which configuration i have to be used in cc1101 for receiving 433 MHz signal from door sensors?

I have interfaced CC1101 with PIC 24 micro controller .  My task is to receive the signal from the door sensor . The sensor, which i bought from the local market and which is  433 MHz. I  read the datasheet of CC1101 , where we i found  ASk FSK type modulations used  . So my question is that  can i use this module with same modulations to receive signal from my door a sensor ?

    First, you need to know the datarate, deviation and modulation format the sensor sends with. To get a successfull communication up and running you also need the package format.

    Thanks for your reply. I have one more question to clarify the problem. So the sensor also need to transmit the data with the same packet format that we have configured on CC1101. The packet format means that the preamble bits, packet length, address, data with CRC etc. So we can conclude that its not possible to receive data from the local sensor currently i have used. Unless i have to use the sensor which have the same packet format.

    Could you please help me to find the Door sensor  which is suitable for CC1101?
