Hello,
I have a circuit based on the CC1101 + CC1190 combo, and I'm aiming to use it in the 915 MHz range. I'm playing with SmartRF Studio to get my RF parameters set correctly, but I've run into a problem. I'm using a 27 MHz crystal as recommended in the CC1101 user's guide (SWRS061G) for frequencies above 896 MHz.
My problem is that when I change the Xtal frequency from 26 (the default for 915 MHz) to 27 MHz in SmartRF when using the range extender settings with the 915 MHz revision, the deviation, channel spacing, and RX filter BW change to hugely different values. The RX filter BW doesn't change even when I select any of the predefined data rate profiles under CC1101-CC1190 915MHz.
Does anybody have any recommendations on how I should go about defining my RF parameters with this odd behaviour in SmartRF Studio? I was thinking that it might be acceptable to copy the correct values from the 26 MHz xtal profile, change to 27 MHz, and then reenter the numbers.
Many thanks,
Richard
