Problem with debugging CC2530

Hi.

I have CC2530-ZNP mini kit and CC-debugger. Software: IAR 8.10.3 for 8051 chip.

Problem: when i try to debug my program via CC-debugger IAR has crash.

Downloading and verifying is ok. Debug started also, green line in the start, but "step over" or "step into" will crash IAR.

Any suggestions? Where is the problem?

Hello PvL,

Does IAR crash when you try to debug one of the sample programs?

Does your program run when you use the Flash Programmer?

If is just your program that crashes, then insert break points in the debugger to find out where it crashes. If it is happening for every program, I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling IAR.

IAR crash with debugging any programs, including samples.

Yes, program is running while i try to debug.

Thanks. Soon i will reinstall IAR. Maybe that's the problem.

hi, i have the same problem, IAR always crashes when I try to do a debug. I tried with some solution but without success, some advise ?

my version is 8.20 for 8051

DO you try to restart your desktop? When I suffer this problem, reboot the system helps. By the way, what is the windows version, WinXP, Win7? If reboot can't fix your problem, I would suggest you install IAR on another desktop.
