Hi all good morning.,
I want just be a clarification whether i can i use single antenna(2.4ghz) for both BT & RFID?
i had query again
i am going to use RFID ACTIVE TAG so it will act in electric field only. And I am going to use frequency of 2.4GHZ only because 13.56 MHZ will cover lower area (2 M).
SO now can i use Single antenna ?
suggest me please
if you are only going to use 2.4GHz and not going to use 13.56MHz, then you have answered your own question and you would be doing something non-standard - but most likely feasible creating your own RFID system based on that freq. band. just make sure whatever you are doing is allowed in the country/countries you want to operate in by the respective regulatory agency.
sorry.
please refer link http://www.indiamart.com/rfid-infotek/products.html which say RFID ACTIVE TAG can use 2.4 ghz
hi
i AM BACK WITH ANOTHER QUERY
CC2420 is a 2.4GHZ IEEE 802.15.4 RF TRANSCEIVER ,
whether this chip contain in-built antenna?
if not what antenna i can be use for this chip?
thanks
Janaki -
if you look in the application notes section here ==> http://www.ti.com/product/CC2420
you will see several docs that should be helpful on the antenna design/selection

Thanks for reply,
After connecting the Antenna(2.4GHZ) for this chip
whether this chip will act as the RFID ACTIVE TAG?
This CC2420 device is a 2.4GHz radio - if you want to use it for some active identification application that you are creating, i don't see any issue with that. This forum is dedicated to passive RFID and NFC applications (which this is not).
