Hi, 

    I am new here. I am working on CC1110DK-MINI-868. I am programming with arduino. can I use this mudole as sniffer for CC1101 module??

    Nalsra,

    If you set the radio setting up the same, you should be able to use the Packet Sniffer program to monitor the traffic.

    Are you using simpliciti or something custom? Packet sniffer has built in packet decoding for Simpliciti that may help you.

    I have read SmartRF packet sniffer manual.I did the configuration according to manual.But in my case SmartRF mudole sniff some garbage data,but i have turned of wireless devices. I want to know about that data,from where it comes???. Secondly, there is always FCS error. However, I am using Generice protocol. Following is the my sniffing result

    I am working on sniffing since long time but getting nothing. I am Confused about SmartRFCC1110-868 .

    I am using SmartRF CC1110-868 mini Dev kit and trying to sniff Wireless Transceiver Module(based on TI's RF chip CC1101).

    Wireless Transceiver Module working frequency 433 MHZ,high sensitivity(-106dBm(433MHZ,2400 bps)).

     I did't receive any packet from wireless Trasceiver module As SmartRFCC1110-868 using as sniffer for Wireless Mudole.

    I have changed base Frequency 434 Mhz in Smart RF studio 7 save the register setting as .prs extension. Then open the Packet sniffer select the SimpliciTI  Protocol. but still did't get packets.

    By changing the Base Frequency 902 MHZ I can sniff packets with error but I don't know from where these packets comes because wireless Transciver Mudole is off.

    can we change SmartRFCC1110-868 base frequency  to 433MHZ??

    Kindly guide me what is the main problem.
