FSK vs. GFSK

Genius 3985 points

Just checked what difference GFSK make in comparision.
GFSK has a much 'slimmer figur' (4k data rate) and therefore should be much better in terms of neighbor channel distortion.
Is this assumption right?

If we use GFSK in TX, does RX needs to be adjusted too?

Óur old modules all use normal FSK and we need to stay backword compatible. Using GFSK: would this be an issue?

thx
