Hi all,

I am evaluating a CC2530 development kit. I have run the serial app example properly with hyperterminal with 38400 bpds rate. I did tests with HT, everything works !

I would like to set hyperterminal settings to 4800 bpds. I have found in hal_uart.h the constants definition but it seems the minimum baud rate is 9600.

Therefore, 2 questions :

1. Is it possible to use the CC2530 hardware with 4800 bpds ?

2. If yes, what is the constant value for such a rate ?

Hi Jérémy,

The rate 4800 baud is supported in the hardware. The values to program can be found in the user guide (http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/swru191), Table 16-1. For 4800 baud, set UxBAUD.BAUD_M to 59 and UxGCR.BAUD_E to 7.
