Dear TI RFID Team

NFC reader board is under development , the ability to be implemented as follows.

- P2P mode

- CardEmulation mode 

- R/W mode -> mifare classic 1K card

 

MSP430F5529 USB Experimenter Board + TRF7970ATB Board confirmed that the operation

-P2P mode --> OK  , CardEmulation mode --> OK

- mifare classic 1K card , UID read --> OK 

- mifare  auth A, auth B , Read Block ,Read Sector, Write Block --> "FAIL" 

 

Qustion 1)

MSP430F5529 USB Experimenter Board + TRF7970ATB Board the mifare classic 1K (Auth A, Auth B, Read Block ,Read Sector ,Write Block ) I would like to know whether the feature is support .

    --->  How con I test if it supports mifare classic card

Mifare classic pictures below is believed to support this feature. (NFCstack +EVA User Guide.pfd 20page)

mifare not supported MSP430F5529 USB Experimenter's Borad + TRF7970ATB Board
would like to know if there is a mifare classic card update plan. 

 

test condition

-test source : RW_P2P_CE_1.hex (Progress during development of the RW_P2P_CE_2)                                          -test board : MSP430F5529 USB Experimenter Borad +TRF7970ATB Board                                                              -test program : NFCPLAYER.exe                                                                                                                                   -test card : Mifare classic 1K bluk card (key : FF FF FF FF FF FF)

  • the Mifare Classic cards are not considered to be NFC cards actually, but we do have the support for them in other packages and we do plan on extending support inside NFCLink, but that will be next year sometime.

    -Development period of four months.

    I confirm the message 'NFCLINK USER GUIDE.pdf' on the page 12 in that file. 

    Roadmap of what is coming after June 18th --> Support for MIFARE classic

    I would like to know the exact update schedule. Because the development schedule must be adjusted.
