Cannot program CC2538

Hi all,

I have my own design with CC2538 and I have trouble programming it with the Segger J-Link. Most of the times it works as expected, but after programming two boards I cannot program them again. I get the following error message from J-Link: Can not find ICE-Pick (IDCode mismatch). Expected 0x0B00002F, found: 0x00000000. Is there any way to force resetting the boards so that I can program them again?

We did, the problem looks related to entering LPMx modes and trying to use the compatibility JTAG mode (IEEE 1149.1, 4 pins) of the CC2538 chip to program it. The trick to solve this is to flash the boards using the XDS100v3 JTAG, which supports cJTAG natively (IEEE 1149.7, 2 pins). The Segger JLink does not support cJTAG by default and, thus, relies on bit-banging the CC2538 on startup to enter the old JTAG mode.
