Can I use the TRX_SW pin in CC1125/CC1120 to control an external RF switch. I am thinking to connect a pull up resistor and then use the TRX_SW pin to control am external switch. Is it correct thing to do? What are the problems if I do this. I am worry that I may have a problem because no datasheet/application note suggest using the TRX_SW this way. Please see a block diagram below.

It is not recommended to use the TRX_SW like this. I would recommend using a GPIO and use the PA_PD or LNA_PD signal.

I also want to know the impedance of the PA pin when the SRD chip is in receive. Is it very high?

Yes, the PA output is high z when the PA is in power down.
