RF430CL330H Android communication

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RF430CL330H

Hello,

We have an RF430CL330H evaluation kit and currently try to communicate with an Android device. Setting the Ndef message and reading it with the phone (Samsung Galaxy SII) works so far and the tag is correctly detected. However, we noticed following problems:

The interrupt flags (End Of Read, End of Write) are only set when the phone leaves the range of the RF430CL330H. This is a problem since this makes two way communication impossible.

When continously sending SPI commands for reading the memory during the RF field is active the NFC seems to be interfered in a way that makes it impossible to detect the tag with the phone.

Is this behavior known and is there maybe any example application for Android implementing such a direct communication. In the product presentation video of the IC it is mentioned that the chip should capable of direct communication with a reader. How was that indended to be done?

Regards

Alexander
