Hello Sir,

             If I use a FCC certified module for a custom RF protocol, should I need to do FCC certification again for the product or is the existing FCC sufficient ??

    Hello Nilesh,

    Usually if you use a module you do not need to go through FCC certification again. But if I am not sure if it also applies when you change the protocol. You must ask the module vendor for advice on this topic. In some cases there are some relaxations to certain rules with regards to duty cycle etc.
