SmartRF studio 7 not able to open device control panel for CCMSP EM430F2618

I am working with CC2520DK, when I connect the usb device smartRF studio 7 gives me a reply

Unknown RF device: MSP430F2618

However the device appears in list of connected device and if I try to open it I receive another error

Not able to open device control panel.

But CC2520 is supported by SmartRF studio 7.

I am using SmartRF 05 Evaluation Board Rev. 1.8.1

Along with it I am using CCMSP EM430F2618 and CC2520EM

Please help

Hi,

You need to connect the CC2520EM directly onto the SmartRF05EB when using SmartRf Studio. I.e. The MSP board shall not be connected. Please also see the document 'CC2520DK Quick Start Guide' (step 12 - 'SmartRF Studio')
