HI

Please confirm whether TRF7960A supports read and write for 14443A(mifare) tags. Or it only supports authentification only.

If yes, then please help to share the sample codes for the same.

    The TRF7960, TRF7960A, TRF7963A, TRF7964A and the TRF7970A can all support ISO14443A, ISO14443B, FeliCa and the non-standard card operations like what are needed after activation and selection of the Mifare Classic Cards. These transceivers, under the control of the MCU, are capable of activating, selecting, authenticating and reading/writing blocks and sectors of the Classic devices, using Direct Mode 0. All other Mifare branded card types can be handled using Direct Mode 2 (ISO Mode, default for the TRF's), as they do not deviate so far out of the standard to require dropping into the lowest direct mode.

    Thanks for the link and we downloaded in the board. Now Reader is able to read the tag properly.

    During mifare card writing we are facing One issue.

    Trying to write card using page(4 bytes) by page basis. In this way whenever writing and reading Page 0, 1, 2 it is working well and good. Whenever trying to write Page 3 and reading page 3, observed that totally corrupted page 0,1,2,3 all are getting corrupted not able to read. Simirally it is happening page 7 and page 11. This fashion is happening in every card.

    Please correct us if we are doing anything wrong in procedure.

    HI Josh,

    I am using MSP430F5510 (USB Controller) and interfacing TRF7960A RFID Reader. As per the above shared code i have copied/implemented same. But in direct mode 0 it is not working properly.

    When compared MSP430F2370 with MSP430F5510 difference is only using 8MHz crystal as the Clock because for working of USB communication.

    In this loop its getting into else loop  in crypto 1

    and not returning from there, can you please check and let me know
