Hi all,

first of all many thanks for your time in advance :)

After some succesful prototypes with RF430CL330H, we are looking forward to RF430FR152LH. I know we will have to wait for 4Q 2014. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to know in advance some preliminar data about its harvesting capabilities.

We tested the 14443-B RF430CL330H to be able to output 1mA@2.6V when approached by a NFC phone.

I was wondering how these values will vary for the RF430FR152LH. I guess these will be higher, since ISO 15693 allows for more range, but it is just a thought.

In any case I know the values depend on the output power from the reader (phone, DLP-RF430ABP, etc.) but any hint will be useful to start planning a new product :) So, any information regarding this?

With RF430FRL152H, it is possible to harvest some power from the mobile over the RF energy and use it to power some external sensors. About 100-200uA can be safely harvested from a regulated voltage supply (like 3.0V). If an unregulated voltage source (1.8V-3.6V) can be used the current supply can be much greater. Up to about 1mA.
