We use this device in one of our products and I have a customer asking how long it will be available.

Does anyone know the EOL for the TRF7961?

    we have no plans to discontinue this device and if and when we do, we have the following policy: 

    Product Obsolescence Policy: We are also committed to provide notification of Product Obsolescence and offer a Life Time Buy (LTB) opportunity, where applicable. TI allows up the 12 months for an order to be place from the date of notification and allows an additional 6 months to take delivery of the ordered product.

    TI will provide the following information:

    • Detailed Description
    • PCN Tracking Number
    • TI Contact Information
    • Last Order Date (12 months after notification)
    • Last Delivery Date (+6 month after order period ends)
    • Product Identification (affected products)
    • Identification of Replacement product, if applicable
