MRD2 Power burst value

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RI-STU-MRD2

Hi,

There is some confusion about the Default Power burst value.

We believe there is a typo in the "RI-STU-MRD2" Power burst value
mentioned in the Reference guide.

As shown below page 25 "Figure 13" shows that PBII is 15ms,
whereas on page 99 "Table 134" shows the value as 17ms.
Could please let me know which is the correct value?

Best Regards
Prad

  • Prad -

the first table is lifted from the spec for the transponder, the second table is showing the default values for the reader - the default being 2mSec longer is OK, if it was shorter it would be a problem as the reason is to raise the voltage level inside the transponder so it can write its own EEPROM...make sense?

  • Hi Josh

Thank you so much for replying to all my our queries.
As we don't have sufficient local support on this device,
your support is very much important for this project.

I shall close all the posts once I get the response from the customer
and please let me ask if there are additional questions on MRD2.

    Regards
