I need to make remote control that supports CableLabs MSO Profile based on RF4CE ZRC 2.0 interface.

I wonder if I can implement this profile using RTI API, or do I have to modify lower levels of Zigbee stack?

In TI SDK there is Advanced Remote Controller example, is that ZRC 2.0 based? Can it do buttonless pairing?

Hi Peter,

We have a patch to RemoTI-1.3.1 that enables the MSO profile as specified by CableLabs. This patch includes an Advanced Remote Controller example. We also have a Linux host application.

One more question regarding button-less pairing defined in MSO profile, I don't have equipment to try it out and specification is not clear about this: how to connect one remote to multiple devices? It says in specification that upon pressing pairing button, all available devices will respond and remote will rank them, then try to pair with top ranked. So if that goes well, I don't understand how remote will connect to other devices that are not top ranked?
