This is probably lame, but I have a syntax question. In DN113 pg. 7 there is a typedef struct defined with what appears to be an assignment
typedef struct{
xxxx;
xxxx;
unsigned char VLEN : 3;
xxxx;
xxx;
} DMA_DESC
(this assignment is repeated afterword and is also in several include files). Neither I nor anyone here has ever seen this before. Does anyone know where I could be pointed to the definition of this syntax?
