NFCLink Solution (Updated)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP430F5529LP, DLP-7970ABP, TRF7970A, MSP430F5529

Hello E2E community,

We have released an update to our NFCLink software solution supporting all NFC modes (Reader / Writer, Peer to Peer and Card Emulation). The hardware used is either a combination of MSP-EXP430F5529 and TRF7970ATB, or it is a combination of the MSP-EXP430F5529LP and DLP-7970ABP. The total solution is intended to be used for developing applications that require any or all of the possible NFC modes, with a variety of operating systems such as Windows ®, Android™, and Ubuntu™. The Android and Ubuntu solutions have been impemented and tested and are in the process being released on the web.

Version 1.00.00.03 Release Notes:
- Fixed following issues:
1.The TRF7970A Software solution did not reply in 86 uS to the SEN_REQ sent by the
polling device, this time has been decreased to 92uS.
2.The P2P target device now handles both 106kbps and 212kbps incoming polling
      commands.
3.The NFC controller was not replying to the SENSF_REQ within the correct timeslot.
The controller now always replies in Slot 0.
4.The NFC controller sends valid NFCID2 in the ATR_RES when target mode enabled.
    5.The P2P target now supports handling PSL_REQ (to 212kbps and 424kbps).
6.The P2P initiator chooses P2P when communicating with target devices that support
      NFC-DEP and ISO-DEP when starting the P2P communication with NFC-A (106kbps).
7.The TRF7970A driver was improved to make the NFC-A P2P communication more robust.
- Added the following features:
1.The GT was increased for NFC-B to 15mS. (To power up the RF430 Temperature TI design)
    2.Support Card Emulation NFC-F.
3.Support multiple card emulation modes at the same time (NFC-A, NFC-B, and NFC-F).
4.Allow for the NDEF message to be modified in card emulation mode.
5.Added support for the MSP430F5529 Launchpad.
