RI-RFM-007B-30 lost range after time of usage

Hello.

For years i'm using a lot of RI-RFM-007B-30 readers (in set with RI-CTL-MB6B-30). Some of them lost they range after one or two years of usage. Range change from 0,9-1m to 30-40cm. Of course in this same condition and place. After replacing reader with new one range returns to about 1 meter.

What can cause this failure? How can i check this readers what is wrong, and maybe fix it? I'm awaiting for answers if you already know problems like this.

Some tech specs:

power supply: 24VDC

working mode: gate mode, without sync, work about 2h/24h (with period 5min gate mode, 1min idle mode)

antenna: about 120x75cm size, L ~ 28uH, R ~ 20mOhm, Q ~ 100

    Dear Jan,

    would you please check with your distributor whether the modules are still under warranty, in case yes we will of course replace the modules.

    What is the percentage of readers showing deteriorating read range overall?

    Has this only occured recently?
