Hi,

I'm using CC1101 tranciever for my application. I want to use the ASYNCHRONOUS SERIAL OPERATION. Everything working well with RX mode data. But in TX mode, i cant put data in GDO0 pin. In application note, it recommend to set GDO0 pin by 0x2E value. but when i put data by UART from MCU to GDO0 pin, data can not sent to CC1101. When i use USB debug to catch data, no data out in this wire when i setup register of CC1101, but when i turn off CC1101 UART had sent right data.

Can you explain it? And what should value to set GDO0 pin?

Use SmartRF Studio to generate the correct register settings. Try 0x0C for the GDO0 setting.

Hi,
Register setting i has generate from SmartRF Studio.
And 0x0C for GDO0 pin in datasheet define is: Serial Synchronous Data Output. Used for synchronous serial mode???

Hi,
I can sent data from UART to GDO0 pin, but no data comming out doesnt right. So can you explain me in the TX transmit in asynchronous:
- Do I just set STX command strobe and put my raw data in GDO0 pin or my data must have a PREAMBLE, Sync byte.....???

I did a quick test using SmartRF Studio and the output change (eg the deviation) if I change the voltage on the GDO0 pin with IOCFG=0x0C.

Async means that whatever you put on the input will go directly to the output. How do you check if the output is correct?
