CC debugger cannot detect cc2530

Hi,

Could you provide us with an image of your connection setup?

Another thing, do you power the EVM?

The connection should be as follows:

PC <-> CC-Debugger <-> CC2530EVM (cc2530EVM must be powered)

1. When debugger is connected, measure the voltage on RBIAS pin, is it 1.25V?
2. Ensure that nothing is forcing reset pin to "1", or "0" when connecting CCDebugger. Reset pin used by the debugger to signal the CC2530 to enter debugging mode, by pulsing this pin.

Another thing, it is very common for the Debugger+cc253x chip to behave erratically, when cc253x Ground PAD is not well soldered to the ground.

Hi,

  The CC2530 is now getting detected by the debugger and the led turns green. we dont need any filtering ckt, pull ups or no need to any connection to pin2 on the debugger to the vin on the board. 

I have two boards, one is having filtering ckt added. Other is not. When I probe the voltage vin pin I was getting 0v.  So I tried with the other and worked fine. May the filtering ckt I have added have some problem otherwise issue with the ground connection in the board. Before  adding the filtering ckt also I had tested the board1. But it was not getting detected. May be that time it was a connection  issue, but I did not had multimeter that time to test.Thanks for your time and help.
