SL500F-USB & EVB90129

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RF430FRL152H, RF430FRL152HEVM, TRF7962A

HI.

I'm working on a project right now. It's about RFID sensors.

I've got some stupid questions here.

I chose SL500F-USB as a reader of EVB90129, is this viable?
And when I bought EVB90129 with MLX90129 as a chip, they just sent me this board and a battery without any cables or SDK.

I don't even know how to program with this board.

What software can be used?

And how to connect this board to the computer?

Using which port and which kind of cables?

  • Hello,

These are not parts from Texas Instruments, so I suggest contacting Melexis for support of these since they are the manufacturer.  For RFID/NFC sensors, have a look at our RF430FRL152H IC.  The evaluation board is RF430FRL152HEVM.  Let me know if you have any questions about this device.

  • Additionally - if you are looking for reader for this transponder, or the one that Eddie recommended - the TRF7962A + MCU (like MSP430 or Tiva) would provide you the basic reader/writer functionality for these ISO15693 transponders. (maybe all what you need here)
