Hi all,
My CC debugger is the black one. Last week it couldn't be found on the PC and the light was always red. After reading the user guide we ordered a new black one and tried to save the previous debugger, but here we have some problems:
1) after we burn the bootload through the new debugger, the light on the old one start to blink. We depart the new one and the old one.
Then we follow the guide to update the firmware in SmartRF Studio 7. Double click the device, and update the version from 0000 to 0044.
After that the light is still blinking. So we press the reset button on the cc-debugger and then, the pc can't find the device again.
2) Now we try to update the firmware manually with the 'SmartRF Flash Programmer '
The tools shows that "CC Debugger firmware verification failed", as another question asked.
The ID of the debugger which is needed fixed is 7319.
The only thing I find different with the user guide is that, our black one showed here has no EB firmware ID and EB firmware rev.
Then we change the action selection to "Erase and Program", it seems work!!!!????
BUT! Unfortunately, even though the old one gives the same LED instruction, we can not use this "fixed one".
It shows like this block error. We change to a new battery but it doesn't work.
While the new one work well with the same hex file.
Here is the process of our fix steps. We have no idea why this happened. Since we have only one "work well" cc debugger, we can't try to do the same step on the new one. Have any one fixed the cc-debugger correctly before? Please help us to check about these!!
