I'm trying to implement the MSO Profile on an external MCU with RNP (1.3.1) on a CC2533.
When configured as a target device it can pair and validate perfectly with an Xfinity remote.
However when configured as a Controller there is some problems when connecting with the Xfinity STB:
- The CC2533 doesn't seem to pick up and forward any of the MSO packets from the STB ( I can see them with a sniffer just fine and there seems to be no obvious reason for this.) I have to guess what's being sent and respond accordingly.
- I can complete pairing and MSO validation. I can then send button presses for about 5 seconds, then the STB stops responding. With the sniffer I can see the STB is still acking the button presses. I can't see any differences between what my device sends and what the Xfinity remote remote sends.
It was mentioned in this thread: e2e.ti.com/.../1357688 that there is MSO patch, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'd greatly appreciate any help or suggestions,
