After following this procedure .The Heartbeat LED is Not blinking. and so unable to start NFC

Hello Muralidhar,

It looks like you are viewing a User Guide from an older version of NFCLink. Please download the newest version of NFCLink and follow the latest User's Guide. The newest version can be downloaded at http://www.ti.com/tool/nfclink and the User's Guide can be found at www.ti.com/.../slou386b.pdf

Also please verify which hardware you have when using the User's Guide as it will explain which folder to find the associated files for that setup.

slou386b.pdf is for MSP430F5529 Experimenters board but I need instructions for MSP430F5529 Launch pad

Hello Muralidhar,

The User's Guide also has information for the LaunchPad. Page 11 will explain where to find the LaunchPad firmware files. Page 8 describes the hardware setup. The usage of the NFCLink GUI will not differ between the two hardware platforms, and the User's Guide provides information on the LED indicators for both boards.

I have also referred slou386b.pdf page 11. I have tried flashing with .out files of lp board and still its not working fine

Have you tried to reset or power cycle the 5529 LaunchPad after loading the firmware? You will need to power cycle it after loading the firmware in order for it to function.

I just loaded up the .out file found at C:\TI\msp430\NFCLink_1.0.0.3\examples\boards\msp430f5529_lp\allModes\RW_P2P_CE_2\ccs\Debug\RW_P2P_CE_2.out on TI Uniflash 3.1.0 and the board comes up fine and connects to NFCLink with no problems.
