I'm working to make a portable RFID tag reader system, and am really confused by the developer options for the boards that are associated with these two components. I need to be able to adjust the read range based on a time system and relay information back and forth with an Arduino if possible. Any one know what components I would need to buy to make a prototype and then to program additional TRF7960 chips.
Like I said, I'm new to this whole thing and would really appreciate any advice you might have regarding this kind of thing. I was looking at a number of (much) more expensive options, but this one looks really promising if I can figure out what components I need.
